Louisville is up in Toledo night, scrapping with the Mud Hens.
Yohan Pino will get the start. No score after one.
Mike Hessman gives the Bats a 1-0 lead with a solo shot in the second. His 20th. I wonder if he will be a September call-up. It would be nice to have a power RHB off the bench.
Toledo with single runs in the second and third to grab a one-run lead. In the top of the fourth, Hessman powers his second solo shot to knot things up at 2. 21st on the season.

Dayton is home tonight against South Bend.
Robert Stephenson will be making his first post-DL start. And he throws a 1-2-3 first, striking out one. He has touched 97 so far. Stephenson is, predictably, a little rusty. An error, a single and a walk have the bases loaded for South Bend. Easy bouncer to the mound but Stephenson's throw is low. Two-run error. Snap throw by the catcher goes into left field 3-0 Silver Hawks. Dragons have committed three errors so far here in the second.
Hudson gets the first Dragon hit, a single in the third. He steals second but then subsequently gets picked off.
Stephenson has 3 Ks in his 3 innings of work. He just reached his 65-pitch limit after going 3.2 innings. Jackson Stephens is on to take it, hopefully, the rest of the way.

Pensacola hosts Jackson.
Josh Smith will be on the mound tonight.
Chad 'Sharky' Rogers, Tim Crabbe, Josh Smith and Tucker Barnhart all made the Southern League South Division All-Star roster. Congrats!
Nice rally by Dayton last night. 1 in the 8, 2 in the bottom of 9 to tie it and another in the tenth for the 4-3 win.
Great job in relief by Jackson Stephens. 5 1/3, 2 hits, 2 walks, 7 k's, no runs.
Also a nice 2-4 nice for Mike Hessman up in Louisville (oh the two hits were both HR's). Unfortunately Lousiville took the opposite approach to Dayton by giving up the tying run in the 9th and lost 4-3 in ten.
