Nope, but this is what I envisioned them to look like if they would have.

Enjoy!

I haven't heard anything so I plead ignorance. I'm wondering why Tucker Barnhart wasn't given a shot. The Reds have been saying his defense is MLB ready, and he has the top BA on granted, a less than stellar team, Is there something wrong with him?

My guess is they want Mesoraco having the majority of time behind the plate and Barnhart would lose development time by not playing every day.

I see a lot of people talk about Ashley in AAA...does he have options? The main reason I think they bring up Miller is because he'll definitely clear waivers when the time comes that Hanigan is healthy.

Plus they don't want to bring up younger catchers now just to send them back down as per rules, I believe they can be up and down 3 times without waivers. Why burn up a catchers call up for 2 weeks just to send him back.

Corky is done after this season and will definitely clear waivers.

Corky's done a nice job this year. I wonder what he makes. I assume he gets a percentage of the major league minimum divided by games in the majors plus his minor league salary. I would guess $50-75K combined.

I think he gets more than that. The formula is more than just the percentage of ML games, I do know that. I'd bet closer to 150/200K.

Tuckers not on the 40 man roster. You would have to dump or DL someone to add him, so that wouldn't be real smart.

Corky at least is a smart catcher. As shown by his tag out of Hanley the other day.
