Hello friends of Redszone,

You can pick one pitcher to control for the next 5-7 years, and your choices are King Felix, or Clayton Kershaw. If you're starting your own team tomorrow from scratch, which guy do you go with?

I love Felix Hernandez and think he's incredible, but I lean slightly towards Kershaw (I may be biased after what he did to us tonight).

What say you, Redszone?

I go with Felix just because I am a big fan. But you can't go wrong with this choice.

I went with Kershaw, but by the slimmest of margins. Less wear on the arm.

I see Kershaw as more durable 5-6 years down the line. I'd take Felix for the next three years though.

I like that. Agree.

Robert Stephenson, easy decision. Next question.

But really, Kershaw. Hasn't logged as many innings as The King.

Kershaw, though actually Bailey if the team he pitched for would support him.

Kershaw. Led league in WHIP and ERA last 3 years. Amazing stuff.

Best pitcher in the league and Free Agent after 2014 playing for the Dodgers. Man that contract is going to be large.

Kershaw. He's two year's younger and has 600 fewer IP on him.

This is one of those polls where either answer is a winner. Kind of like when I was a kid everyone was always asking guys to pick between Ginger and Mary Ann. They both look pretty good to me. Just like back then when I went with Mary Ann, I'll go with the one who seems fresher and less used up and that's Kershaw.

You can't go wrong with either. I picked Hernandez but really its coin flip.

Feliz. Kershaw is younger but has had a hip injury in the past. That alone scares me.

Felix is the King. Kershaw is the Claw. The Claw? What the heck.

You can't go wrong with royalty. Frankly Kershaw wouldn't even be the best part of a lobster.

I went with Kershaw because I wanted to see the voting results. You can't go wrong with either, so I went with the younger player.

Taking wear on the arm and age into account, it has to Kershaw. Also like that he's a lefty. But if we're talking in terms of taking either player at the peak of their careers, right now I'd have to go with Felix.
