The two week stretch every season where the Reds are two and three hit by every starter they face, regardless of who it is.

9pm or later starts (=> west coast games)... hard to get out of bed at 3am or 4am to watch a game, even harder to stay awake the whole night...

and during losing streaks itīs hard to motivate yourself to another long night (and tired working day)

Honestly, April baseball. Cincinnati just isn't quite warm enough on a lot of those April nights... I love warm summer evenings and it doesn't start being that way until May.

Spring Training. It's boring to watch/follow and it's just an anxious month of hoping for no injuries. And the games don't matter so besides the last 2 spots on bench/bullpen. I also find March Madness boring, thank god for Opening Day in 14 days!

Got here late, but Kingsport hit it on the head. The AS break and the game has never been of interest to me. LexRedsFan also has a point. I've been to Opening Day a few times and have frozen to death. In 1971, I wore a down coat and a ski cap (we call them cobogans here). Plus Opening Day was ruined for me when ESPN started the season early and made Cincy's just another game.

The intentional walk for two reasons. A. They should be able to just hold up four fingers and have the runner take the base. B. Intentional walks are stupid strategy 95% of the time they are issued.

This is it right now. The horrible, two week stretch when I just want the season to start. It's made exponentially worse by the people I'm around every day, and their "The NCAA basketball tournament is the greatest event in the history of sports" palaver.

I like games that are played outside, not in a crummy gym with a bunch of grunting and squeaking. I want my Baseball, dad gummit.

Sorry, didn't realize this was YOUR lawn ;)

Anyway, my vote is pitching changes. The closest thing baseball has to momentum is a stringing a few hits together and getting guys on base, but for at least half the game any time that occurs, it's followed by a 5 minute delay for a new pitcher to stroll out there and warm up (who BTW has spent the last 10 minutes presumably warming up). By the time they throw the 1st live pitch, most people have forgotten what the last hitter did or how many outs there are. If it were up to me, you can change pitchers, but he has X amount of seconds to get out there and then we start. He should have warmed up in the bullpen. I don't know if it's always been that slow or it's just a blantant attempt at sneaking in more commercial time, but how about fitting in more commercials during the natural breaks if you need more. Slowing the game down during it's intense moments is annoying.

That's why I refuse to watch baseball live. I DVR every game, start watching it a couple of hours after it starts, and can fly through it without really missing anything. Just have to avoid social media and sports news every night during the baseball season, and hope I don't get a text from a buddy talking about something that happened in the game.

Off days are the worst from a fan perspective.

Especially off days after a loss. Especially off days after a day game loss with a night game the following day.
The 48 hours between out #27 and pitch #1 just leave way too much time to stew.
