Let's get a win. I am sick of the Pirates being happy.

If someone can change the 204 of to 2014 it would be much appreciated.

How are you so confident he called for it? It was the exact same thing last week when BP bunted Hamilton to third people in here swearing up and down Price had to have called it and then we found out he didn't. I think he lets his players make decisions that I wish he sometimes wouldn't but I don't think he personally calls for these bunts.

I don't know that Phillips could have hit the ball much harder than that. I don't care if it's pitch 1 or pitch 5 with a man on second, if you get a pitch you can hit that hard get after it.

I have come to the believe that there are just two schools of thought on the subject.

I for one, believe if you get a pitch to hit, take a rip. Unless you get the take sign.

Reds Freak

It would be one thing if the Reds lost by 5-6 runs every night, but it seems every loss is a one-run defeat. I don't know how to explain that. When they pitch well, they don't hit. When they do hit, they can't keep guys from crossing the plate.

Is it frowned upon to quote yourself? :)

No, I"m not. He also threw 9 K's with 0 bb's. Crappy weather conditions, the ball was FLYING off the bats. 2 of the dingers were cheapies. Was it a stellar outing? Of course not, he struggled with his command the first couple of innings and got burnt on a few bad pitches. But I'll take a 9k/0bb outing from my starter any day of the week.
