I don't think he's hurt, he just ran into the buzzsaw that is the New York Yankees offense. Reed is a middle tier pitcher, as such, he should only be started against middle tier offenses and below average offenses. Anytime he faces the Rangers in Arlington, the Yankees anywhere, the Red Sox anywhere, etc he should be on your bench. When he faces NL Central foes like the Tigers, Royals, and Indians, he should be in your starting lineup.
