That's Ndume, he was obtained to mate with Koko, because Michael and her had formed a brother sister bond.

Michael was a STUD, here's how strong he was.

He hung out in a a giant outdoor mesh cage, once there was a coconut on the top of the indoor cage, which was 6 feet high. He stuck his fingers up (just his index fingers) and pulled the coconut through the bars, like cheese through a grater. Once he ate a whole head of iceberg lettuce in 2 bites.

And christmas tree lights too... they had to coax those away with his favorite treat.

peeps.

One thing I gotta say that I dislike about my office is that the climate control is tied directly to the basement halls. Which, in this plant, are cavernous. What this means is that I am pretty much always sweating bullets or freezing to death in here.

Double digits in three categories. For instance 25 pts, 15 rebounds, 12 assists. It would also count if they got double digits in steals or blocks, but not turnovers.

I think I've asked this before, but does anyone know why they can an assist a "dime"?

When a player has double-digit stats in three categories: points, rebounds and assists.

15 points, 12 rebounds, 11 assists = triple-double.

I took the rest of the day off and tomorrow, to make a nice long weekend. Perhaps I will do a study on the effects of Rum or Scotch on me in Jan '05. I'm thinking I should start on this as soon as possible. After all, we don't want to have too small of a sample size, people might complain about the results of the study.

Oil is your car’s blood, which is why I religiously change mine every three to ten months, give or take.

Last time, the guy underneath says there’s oil everywhere and my main seal is leaking. I tell him, okay, go ahead and fix it. He looks at me askance, and says, “No, no, no. You gotta call the dealer about that.”

After a week, I remember that I haven’t done that yet.

Two weeks after that, my dashboard’s “Oil” light comes on. I pour a quart of oil in. The light goes out.

Repeat for a month.

Last week, I call the dealer and make an appointment to bring it in. The soonest he could see me was the following Tuesday. Grrr.

Bright and early on Tuesday, I show up at the crack of dawn and drop off my car. He says they’ll check it out and call me when they know something. I ask for a ride to work. He says no problem and sends me to the waiting room.

Forty minutes go by; just me, Regis, and some employees. Finally their driver appears. Grrr.

Seven hours later, no one has called. It’s four o’clock. I have no car. I have to go home soon. I call the dealer. He says they just started looking at it, and he’ll call back soon. Grrr.

“Soon” meant an hour and a half later, when he calls and says I don’t need a main seal. I need a head gasket. Big job. Could take a day and a half. “You’ve had the day, and I need may car,” I say. He says that if I leave it with them, that’d help them get the car done by Wednesday evening. I agree to let them have it, and convince a colleague to give me a ride home and pick me up in the morning.

At 8:15 a.m., my colleague does not show up. At 8:40, I call the office and get his voicemail. At 9:00, I ask the receptionist if she’s seen him around. Why yes, he’s been wandering around all morning. Grrr.

By 4:00, the dealer has not yet seen fit to call and give me a status report. I call. I go into voicemail. At 4:45, no one has returned my call. I call again. I’m told my rep has gone for the day. I’m put on hold. My rep somehow manages to pick up. He tells that my car isn’t ready, and won’t be until Thursday by lunch. I spew bile through the telephone so vile that I’ve had to requisition a new mouthpiece. The rep agrees to give me a loaner, but I have to come get it. (You have my car, jackass! How am I supposed to come get it? You’re surrounded by 300 cars, jackass!) Grrr.

The promised “Thursday by lunch” arrives. No phone call. Thursday by 3:00 arrives. No phone call. I call the rep. The car won’t be done until tomorrow. They’re still working on it, and they want to put some miles on it before they give it back, you know, for safety’s sake.

Isn’t that nice of them?

* WARNING - NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART. *

Woman Tore off Ex-Lover's Testicle, Court Told

By Will Batchelor, PA

A jilted woman today admitted ripping off her ex-lover's testicle with
her bare hands after he refused to have sex with her.

Amanda Monti, 24, flew into a rage after her ex-boyfriend, 37-year-old
Geoffrey Jones, rejected her advances at the end of a drunken house
party.

She yanked off his left testicle, which was later handed to him by a
friend with the words: "That's yours."

Monti, of Birkenhead, Merseyside, pleaded guilty to wounding at
Liverpool Crown Court today and will be sentenced next month.

The court heard that Mr Jones had ended his long-term relationship
with Monti towards the end of May last year.

The pair remained on good terms and on May 30, Monti offered to
collect Mr Jones from a barbecue and drive him to his home in
Netherton, Merseyside. She then drove him to another party and then
home again, where friends joined them for more drinks.

As the drinks party was winding down, Monti told Mr Jones she wanted
to discuss their relationship and offered him sex.

When he refused, she grabbed his face and a struggle ensued.

Mr Jones threw petite Monti, who is little more than 5ft 2ins tall,
out of the house. She then smashed a window and confronted him on the
doorstep as he went to investigate.

Another struggle took place and Monti was knocked to the floor, from
where she pulled down Mr Jones' shorts.

In a statement read out by judge Charles James, Mr Jones continued: "I
was left standing in my underpants. She was still lying on the floor.

"Suddenly she grabbed my genitals and pulled hard. That caused my
underpants to come off and I found I was completely naked and in
excruciating pain."

Referring to his friend Danny McDonagh, who was sleeping at the house
after the party, Mr Jones said: "I believe Danny walked out shortly
afterwards. He came into the kitchen and said to me, 'That's yours',
and I saw that he was holding one of my testicles in his hand."

Monti initially tried to hide the testicle by putting it in her mouth,
but released it. Doctors were unable to re-attach the organ.

Defence barrister Wendy Lloyd said her client did not remember much of
the incident. However, she accepted the prosecution's version of
events and did not claim to have acted in self-defence.

Monti, who spoke only to confirm her name and enter a guilty plea, was
released on conditional bail for sentence on February 10.

What are you required to read?

It's gonna be awful, I can tell... I LOVE American history, but not world history. We're reading: The Clash of Civilizations? The Debate by Samuel Huntington
Ordinary Men: Reserve Battalion 101 and the Final Solution in Poland by Christopher Browning
King Leopold's Ghost by Adam Hochschild
Ten Years of Madness: Oral Histories of China's Cultural Revolution by Feng Jicai
All the Shah's Men: An American Coup and the Roots of Middle East Terror by Stephen Kinzer
Sweetness and Power: The Place of Sugar in Modern History by Sidney Mintz
Readings in World Civilization by Kevin Reilly

I'd much rather learn about the American Revolution or the Civil War... Something like that. I spent most of my childhood in history museums and hiking through battlefields. There are a couple of interesting ones in there.

King Leopold's Ghost by Adam Hochschild

That's a great story, especially shows how the some of the uber imperialistic tendencies of one of the rulers of Europe just devestated Africa.

Ten Years of Madness: Oral Histories of China's Cultural Revolution by Feng Jicai
This one makes my brain hurt, mind numbingly boring.

All the Shah's Men: An American Coup and the Roots of Middle East Terror by Stephen Kinzer I actually like this one. History and CIA spy tales all wrapped up in one book.

Sweetness and Power: The Place of Sugar in Modern History by Sidney Mintz
Readings in World Civilization by Kevin Reilly

RFS62, remember the problem with wearing those shorts? At some point during the day when you sat down, some one always had to point out that something was peaking out.

And the worst times were the ones when a female family member was making the announcement.

Hey Puffy,

Ever since I was drafted, I've waited to contact you about my signing bonus. Well, I think I've waited long enough.

See, I gotta family to feed and all sorts of unnecessary expenses I need to take care of......and since my services aren't free, my agent will be contacting you shortly to discuss the monetary situation.

Let me introduce you to Mr. Boras.

Coach Puffy. I'm Mr. Boras.

Paint is wanted man. Paint is a talented man. In accordance with the talent and desire, he expects to become a rich man.

How about we start with approx. 1/2 your team budget, first class airfare to a city of his choice, hookers on demand, Suites to all Bengals games and a date with Nicole "Mrs. Puffy" to begin the negotiations.

Right now I can tell you that we're on the line with at least one other team who's looking to meet our demands.

We also have the option of returning to school, although Paint would love to play for Team Puffy, so we know we don't want that to happen.
