:runaway:

So, this is what it's like to be about half way through, eh?
Not enough money, not nearly as smart as I thought I was when I was twenty, and not nearly as settled as one thinks they will be at this age.

Oh well, maybe I'll feel like an adult when I turn fifty.

Happy Birthday!

(I'm having a tough time with that number this year too.)

Remember when forty sounded ancient? :)

My baby sister is turning forty this year ... and she says she can't wait. All of her friends have passed forty, and she says things get a little simpler after 40, from what she can see. Of course, she has 18 month old twins to keep her young. :D

Happy Birthday, SunDeck. :beerme:

Happy Birthday! I'm two years past you. I turned 42 yesterday. You never have enough money and you are never as smart as you need to be. But you just keep on trying.

Happy Birthday, SunDeck. I'll join you in the 40-Club this November. And yes, TC, I do remember when 40 sounded ancient. In fact, I remember when 30 sounded pretty old.

Nope, I'm 21 and dumber than a box of rocks. I don't know if I can function as a human being if I get any worse... Oh well, at least I'm aware of that fact, right??

Happy birthday, Sundeck!!

I shared this here a few months ago, but I'll post it again...

I overheard a couple of college girls talking one day and one was complaining that her parents were going to buy her a Honda Accord. She said, "I don't want an Accord. It'll make me look 30!", with the implication being that that would be a tragic thing.

Happy birthday Sundeck! Welcome to middle age.

40 is when people start taking you seriously. Or maybe they just wait till you leave to laugh at you behind your back instead of in your face.

I've never figured that out.

I'll be joining you in that 40 club some time soon too. Like creek, I've already peaked, and I'm starting to count back down. :mooner:

I would have considered that tragic at 22, and would consider it even more tragic now that I am 35. :scared:

Hey, thanks for all the well wishing. My wife gave me a pretty tremendous gift-
she hired a LAWN SERVICE for the entire summer.

Love to garden, hate to mow.

The only down side is that she'll be expecting me to lay a patio and remodel a bathroom with all my new found free time.

Now you know why she hired that law service. ;)

If you haven't figured it out already...women are devious.

I was out this morning tuning up the ol' riding lawnmower. Afterwards, I decided to take it on a test drive around the yard to insure it worked OK. It felt like I was driving a conestoga wagon, as rough as can be, thanks to all the mole trails. My backs sore.... I think I need to take a nap!
