I don't think he's homered at SAFECO.

What year did Safeco open? I thought he played at least 1 year there before he was traded.

I know Jr. has hit a HR against every MLB team except the Mariners and Reds, only because he has never played in a game vs. those teams.

I started a thread to discover the 3 stadiums....hopefully we'll find the answer there. I'm sure somebody will find it, or know it.

Yeah, he did. Safeco opened the second half of 99 I think. My bad.

THe choice was right. The umpire was wrong.should have sent up the RH hitter. How often does Cruz see a lefty. Might be the first time this year.

Yeah, but the umpire cost them at least 2 with maybe the worst strike call I've ever seen.

I'm sure if we had a more decent option than Bergolla the RH hitter would have been sent up.

why is bergolla bad option at that point. Hard to DP

Not a particularly good hitter, walks seldom.

Look, the choices were Cruz, Bergolla or Larue. Certainly not a very good choice among them. Cruz worked a walk, but got screwed.

Arguments could be made for and against all choices.

That's like saying we didn't neeed a hit.

A walk with the bases loaded is a good thing.

With a wild pitcher in, the more veteran PH (Cruz) was not a bad choice vs. the inexperinced rookie. And an infield grounder could easily be thrown home.

Lopez can quickly make the Rich Aurilia debate obsolete here

In my OOTP6.12 solo league, Lopez just wasn't getting it done. He was decent defensively, but offered nothing at the plate. Wilson? Let's just say that OOTP is realistic enough that the virtual Paul Wilson is a clone of his real-life counterpart. ;)

SS - Felipe Lopez
SP - Paul Wilson

for

SP - Adriano Rosario (19y - 4 stars - A)
RP - Jesus Silva (22y - 4.5 stars - AAA)
RP - Jose Valverde (25y - 5 stars - ML)
C - Chris Snyder (24y - 4 stars - ML)

Not a bad trade at all, I am not really much of a destroy-and-rebuild kind of manager, but this trade allows me to both rebuild with pitching (my bullpen is used a lot) and bring up a young catcher with some pop in the bat, to replace Larue who has a sore hip.

Oddly, yes. And, he gets the save. I just worry that if you allow enough runners on so frequenty, you will get burned. Ask Danny Graves. Anyway, his pitches had more movement tonight than I've seen all season.

I think this road trip could do more than that. I am expecting a decent run here. I want at least 4 wins on this trip and would be thrilled with 5-2. Not out of the question considering who we play. Phils are struggling like us and we are 3-0 vs. the Metropolitans.
