And now Romano is PHing for Junior.

(That's John Romano, per Indians' radio guys.)

Snobby?

Yup!

Just once, I'd love to see our guys rake and pull out a win in a situation like this... other teams do it against the Reds fairly often. Wouldn't it be nice?

Did Marty just say Romano replaced Wagner, who just went on the disabled list?

It would be nice. But we can't face our own pitching staff.

Encarnacion's picture on MLB makes him look like J.J. from Good Times.

If Dunn were any good, that would have been a 9-run home run. Instead it's just a single.

That was a nice play by Easy E! Did you see Ruhle reading Coffey the riot act, making sure he was ok?

No, somehow I missed that.

21 hits for the Indians so far. Plus 5 BBs for them.

Did Grande say Ruhle was having Coffey scrap the splitter,or at least throw it less? Coffeybro?

Anyone else think EE stands a little too far away from the plate?

How the heck is he going to hit anything on the outside of the plate?

If Dunn were any good, that would have been a 9-run home run. Instead it's just a single. That clearly isn't true cause he only hits home runs or strikes out.

Not that it matters in this game.....but the ATL broadcasters were talking about how the Reds and a couple of other teams..are the only ones who play defense w/o any adjustments as to who is hitting. Basically they do not do what the Braves do....in that they always seem to be in the right place to make a play. I have wondered as we see another hit....how much this would actually help this putried pitching staff.

Probably not much, because if they put on the shift someone would just bunt it were they werent playing.

I highly doubt Todd is going to scrap it. Maybe throw it less. I really don't have any info along the lines of what Ruhle has told him. He doesn't really talk to me about what they tell him.

Narron's a genius! He's going to have everyone hit a home run! Back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back!!

I was half-ass paying attention and not sure if it was Todd he was talking about, then noticed he wasn't throwing it as often.

Remember when Ray Knight had his notebook? Man that guy seemed to knew where every single batter was most likely to hit and he was constantly shifting the defense.

Did it work? I don't remember.

I dont know if I heard it right or not, but I thought they said he was using the splitter less and the 2 seemer more.... and that Weber told him to use the 2 seemer more... or something like that.

That aint the half of it. Go look up Reds team pitching stats vs the rest of MLB. We're not only 29th or 30th in everything but its usually by a huge margin.

This is an historically bad staff.
