Wasn't that a WFL franchise?

(BTW - I have no idea except to guess Greg Landry)

Yeah.... not landry (who I met in 74 at the Lions Training Camp, Bill Munson was my little league coach)

Anyway... Bubba Wyche, Sam's brother, was a quarterback for the WFL Detroit Wheels in 1974, the same year that Sam was quarterback for Detroit's other professional football team, the NFL Lions.
