Been playing it for well over a year now... Its fun, simple and covers all the sports you enjoy. Even Hockey! :p:
Baseball, Football, PGA, Hockey, NBA, and Nascar all tied into 1 game all year long.

I'll try it out.
Is there a possibility of winning anything without joining a pay league?

Its not your regular fantasy game...
Jockstocks is a sporting game with a wall street twist to it.... The Stock prices go up and down based on that players performance that day.

Okay, I got my money all spent and in one day I've already lost money. All in all seems like a fun game as long as I'm not required to check back daily.
Do you want to own NBA/NFL players in the offseason?

We have 100's of casual players... People who come and go and just play the game and not be competative so.. Its up to you how much you want to play...
RE: NFL/NBA -- Nope, you want stocks that are in season. IE) MLB, PGA, Nascar

Then I am kind of curious as to what the long term section is all about...

Its for players who have been around for awhile... About 6 months or longer...
Once you get enough cash to buy every player who will dividend posative in the AM, and you have cash left over you can put stocks in long term and just keep them there with out selling them.
Or if a player price reaches 1000$ they split to a 10:1 -- So if you had 10,000 shares of 1 person that splits at the 1000$ mark then you'd get 100,000 shares and thats where you'd keep ur splits. In the Long Term Area.
