Germano looks like a more advanced version of the Lizard with a better breaking ball.
If he could put up a 4.75-5.00 ERA next year, I will be happy. Then the year after that, lower it down to around 4.25-4.50 range.

NO WALKS. !!!!!!!!!!! 6 singles, 1 double.I would like to see him improve his ground out to fly outs. Today he had 8 ground outs and 9 fly outs. Just thinking ahead to GABP. A ground ball pitcher would be nice right now. Other than that not to bad of start to his Reds career. Him and Chick both started off on the right foot.
BOTTOM 9, BATS AT BAT, 4-3 BULLS, 0 OUTS, GARNER PITCHING, DANE S. UP.
DANE S. WALKS AFTER A FULL COUNT.
RICK ASADOORIAN SAC BUNT, DANE TO 2ND BASE. 1 OUT.

Pena better watch it. Health wise and plate discipline wise, Denorfia has him beat. If Casey is traded, he might not get all the starting chances.

If Casey is traded there is no way that you can put Denorfia in the game over Wily Mo. Not trying to knock Denorfia as he has had an incredible season between AA and AAA, but Wily Mo is 2 years younger than him and has had success in the major leagues. Wily Mo is just fine with his 12 HR and .800 OPS that will only go up with consistent playing time.

Simpson blows it  . The Bats had a lot of missed opportunities, I listened to the first seven plus innings. Germano sounded like he had good command, had the one inning where they strung together some two out hits, but a solid outing from what I heard.
