The Saints will fly to San Antonio following their 8 p.m. Thursday game with the Oakland Raiders (http://sport.monstersandcritics.com/football/article_1045019.php/NFL%60s_Saints_relocate_to_San_Antonio#), said director of media and public relations Greg Bensel.

San Antonio is team owner Tom Benson`s second home, the New Orleans Times Picayune said.

The team will practice there until their season-opener Sept. 11 against the Carolina Panthers (http://sport.monstersandcritics.com/football/article_1045019.php/NFL%60s_Saints_relocate_to_San_Antonio#).

Several teams and communities have offered assistance, although where the Saints will play their home opener, Sept. 18 against the New York Giants (http://sport.monstersandcritics.com/football/article_1045019.php/NFL%60s_Saints_relocate_to_San_Antonio#), is uncertain.

General Manager Mickey Loomis and the NFL are looking into potential sites, which include college stadiums, the report said.

Not a bad plan, I was thinking they would go to Tiger Stadium.

The Saints are saying they want to play their home games in Louisiana if at all possible.

Officials here are keeping this very low key, but there's plenty of availability in the Alamodome for home games.

Haven't looked at the NFL schedule for conflicts with Texans home dates, but it seems like Reliant Stadium would be an easier drive from Louisiana if Tiger Stadium isn't available.

One article I read said they may play one home game in San Antonio and try to play the rest at LSU.
