No. 2 defensive end in the nation; also an excellent RB; recently named KY's Mr. Football; was being recruited by Notre Dame, some other big big time schools.

Says his next order of business is getting on the phone to Minton and other KY bluechippers and getting them to UK.

Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Nice to land a big-time in-state recruit; first since Tim Couch that comes this highly touted while being wooed by so many elite programs.

It's kinda funny...I had heard that Micah had given his oral commitment to UK while listening to a local radio show earlier this week, only to have his Ft. Campbell high school coach vehemently deny it later that same night on the local news. The next day, Micah's mom was quoted on the front page of the paper saying he was definitely coming to UK and that his high school coach was wack.

According to reports, his decision was sealed after attending the Tennessee game at Commonwealth last Saturday. Personally, after sitting through 3.5 quarters of that debacle myself...I think a pysch consult would be in order for Micah. Oh well, GO BLUE!

Seriously!!! Hard to believe the TN game is what helped solidify his intentions!! LOL; hey, you know what though, I take my hat off to the kid, he loves UK and wants to try and help turn things around; ya gotta love that.

Not necessarily a shock, plus his brother is an O-Lineman.

Now if we could just get a new coach who could get the most out of Andre Woodson, I would be very pleased.
