I would imagine one of the sayings is Dickie V singing the Duke fight song?;)

I sat behind Dick at a Giants game once, every couple of innings someone would spot him and imitate his vigorous yell. It was not amusing

Of course the real question is, does Dick talk like that when he's not broadcasting? I just can't imagine what he might sound like carrying on a normal conversation.

I think whoever made this alarm clock should make a Duke Edition.

No, I had an opportunity to talk to him about 10 minutes years ago, and he spoke in a normal tone. Of course I had an ACC school sweatshirt on  . He's a good guy and a great sport about himself.

I get tired of hearing him broadcast at times, but you've got to give the guy credit. He created an image that made him a lot of cash.

I'm going to buy some of those clocks, as soon as they get marked down to $10 or so.. $25 is too much to spend on a gag gift.

I open a thread on the perfect suicide-inducing Christmas gift for that special child on your list and here I think you're talking about Reds' season tickets. Ba-doom-crash!
