RedsZone Hall of Fame - Starting Pitchers, A-I

Vote for all STARTING PITCHERS with last names beginning with A-I that you believe should be in the Hall of Fame. This is a multiple-choice poll so you're allowed to vote for more than one player.

Technically this is A-H since there won't be anyone with a last name starting with I on the poll, but anyway here's the first of three polls for starting pitchers. There will be well over 100 starting pitchers ultimately listed and throwing them all on one poll is just screaming for people to accidentely forget to vote for someone. I'll wait the usual 1-2 weeks before putting up the next poll so as not to clutter the forum up with the HOF polls.

As usual, the tier system remains ...

19th century (i.e. pre 1903): Need 2/5 support
Early Modern (roughly 1903-1945): Need 1/2 support
Integration (roughly 1945-1970): Need 5/8 support
Post Integration (roughly 1970-present): Need 2/3 support

The one change I did make was using different statistics for the pitchers list, which I do not know if it's for better or for worse, but nevertheless this is what we'll roll with for this go around. It's pretty basic here, innings and ERA+ with the player's era designation.

I really like voting on these things, and I can't believe that I missed this one. Judging by the number of respondents, it looks like a lot of others missed this one, too.

I'm really glad to see all the support for Blyleven, but more votes for him than Pete Alexander, Lefty Grove and Carl Hubbell? Come on.

John Clarkson's in at the moment, but that could get dicey. I urge people to review his record.
