So much for him being part of the Marlins' resurgence:

This may have been a typo. If so I apologize.

Rotowire.com said Jason Romano is going to the Hiroshima Carp, and linked to the article above. However, the article mentions a "Mike" Romano.

Yeah, all those Romano's can get confusing, Jason, Mike, Ray, Corky, et.al.

It's Mike, according to http://www.japantimes.co.jp/cgi-bin/getsp.pl5?sb20060122wg.htm

Better change the thread title.,

Best part of the article:

Orix Buffaloes -- The Buffs have kept sluggers Karim Garcia and Cliff Brumbaugh and added infielder Jason Grabowski from the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Orix has also reached into the recycle bin to sign pitchers Dan Serafini from Lotte and Tom Davey from the Hiroshima Carp.

Funny how even the Japanese media has realized the true Danny Serafini.

Definitely a typo. The editors from rotowire emailed me. Mike Romano is a former Blue Jays prospect who's been over there for a while.

Who in the heck would name their team "Carp"? Unless they are the "bottom feeders" in the league.

Talk about your typos. If that team is really playing bad, it would be hard to resist switching the two middle letters around. ;)

Romano has already played for them. ;)
