Funny thing: Rich Aurilia seems to have come around on the concept of being a team guy. Of course, this happens after Rich spends an entire winter listening to crickets instead of offers from other organizations.

So I wouldn't exactly anoint him a saint, but give Rich credit for at least realizing that it helps to have some decent PR on your side. (Of course, he hasn't gotten much attention this spring, what with Tony Womack making like NIN (http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/nineinchnails/only.html) lyrics; caution, just like the story linked elsewhere, there's swearing involved here).

Rich Aurilia putting the Cincinnati Reds ahead of Rich Aurilia is a good thing. If he maintains this attitude, and I'll have to see it before I believe it, it's a good thing for the team.

If he can get enough at bats to prove that last year was not a fluke, then come July he should be available to turn for some pitching. I think the attitude hurt his trade value and hopefully his agent got on him about it. So this may be the softer Rich Rich this year.
