Im back folks and looks like #3 didnt want to make an appearance quite yet. The docs were dumbfounded. All signs pointed to labor... contractions, dialation but then it all just stopped after she took a nap. So it looks like ill have to wait a little longer.

We've got 3 kids. A good number.

The only problem is, you are ounumbered by the enemy. There are more of them than there are of you. Learn to juggle.

I also found that after child #3, I ceased being endlessly patient. In order to prevent an all-consuming outbreak of chaos from breaking out, you learn to run a tight ship. I'll have a discussion, explain myself, listen to their side, tolerate a little foolishness, but then we're done. And when I say done, I mean D-O-N-E.

I hear ya Tucker... We already run a tight ship. We have a schedule marked down on the inside of our pantry, we allot times for playing on the computer (they are smart 4 and 5 1/2 yr olds :D ) and they help clean up.

We will need the help from the other kids when this one finally does decide to make an appearance.

Good luck.
We have three kids. Once you add a third kid, you are outnumbered and can no longer play a man-to-man defense; you have to play a zone.

any news Smith?

smith288
04-13-2006, 10:49 PM
News is she lasted until her due date which is 14th (tomorrow).

Since she is carrying so large (she is only 5'1"), the doc schedule induction for 7:30 am Good Friday.

Im actually quite astonished we made it this far with how close we were when I originally made this thread.

So no rushing in the we hours of the night (unless of course now baby #3 decides the night before it wants to come).

This is much better. Kids at my parents, went out to Olive Garden for a relaxing evening. Come home and watch The Office.

If it happens today, smith, it will be on the Hit King's birthday.

Remember.... when she is going through the actual labor.... stay at least an arms length away from the wife.

They do strange things when in labor, and the last thing they need to hear from the man who put them in that position is "breath honey, now push!"

Like we've ever been there? ;)

Most sailors would have covered their ears having to listen what was coming out of my wife's mouth when delivering #3.

Thought I would bump this thread as #3 turns 5 today. Time has flown by and she aint no baby anymore. :(They do have a tendency to do that. My "baby" is almost 10 years older than yours. He's about as tall as I am and has a baritone voice that's about an octave lower than mine. Don't be wistful. The ride is just beginning for you. :beerme:
