I heard this as well, on ESPN radio I think. Should the Reds be interested in Clement again?

I wish the Reds could swing a deal for Pabelbon.

He and lester would probably be the ones they won't give you.

I'd take Clement if BOS picked up the full bar tab.

That way when does go out and lay an egg, its free.

I'm sure they're willing to make a trade. Unfortunately, their asking price is extremely high.

Yeah, but would you be willing to throw in Womack, RA, or Dave Williams?

Milton, Wily Mo, and the Sox choice of old bullpen guy for Clement and Dustin Pedroia. I'll drop Milty if the Sox sub Lester for Clement.

Milton, RA, Womack, Wilson & Williams for Arroyo, Clement and Wells - 5-for-3 - what could be more fairerer than that?

Milton and Pena to Nats, Soriano to Boston, for Clement

I don't think Clement is worth Milton and Pena - Milton straight up maybe but not both.

As well it should be -- there's always SOMEBODY that will pay for pitching.

Right now the market is there, but it's not great -- but as it gets closer to the start of the season and reality sets in ("Our pitching sucks, we need help") or injury situations become clearrer ("There's no way he'll be ready for opening day, we need help") there will be more suitors for guys like Clement, Wells and Arroyo.

Boston was willing to give up Andy Marte and Hanly Ramirez, You might be able to get Pablebon or Lester away from them if you can package a deal that would bring them a championship this year.

lol are you serious? "Maybe" Milton for Clement straight up??? Milton was the worst pitcher in the Major Leagues last year. A good season for Milton would be under a 5 ERA.

What's sad is that we don't really have any prospects to trade. The ones we have (Pena, EdE, Homer, Bruce) are all too good to trade for Clement and Arroyo.

I'm not too interested in those pitchers either. They are better than all of our pitchers (besides Harang), but still. If adding those to our team would make our pitching average or close to it then I might do it, but I really don't think it would.
