One's a surprise, the other isn't.

I wonder if Journell was hurt, or just looking for a better big-league opportunity?

Don't understand releasing Journell. He put up some good numbers in the minors, and if healthy could have been a surprise out of the bullpen.

I'm getting the distinct sense that the Krivsky regime doesn't care to teach control to older pitchers.

Especially the ones acquired by his predecessor(s).

Journell could be injured or something still. He didn't dominate in the limited action he saw, but he wasn't meat either.

Howington's gone so that high school first round draft pick failure is now official.

Wonder how long until Gruler sees the pink slip and also becomes another official high school first round draft pick failure.
