Not only does it look as if Josh Hancock is going to win a spot in the St. Louis rotation after he was released by the Reds his first day in camp when he reported 17 pounds overweight,
Now with only a slight knowledge of the Cardinals I know that there projected rotation is

marquis
carpenter
ponson
suppan
This does not include Reyes who went back to AAA or Wainright who appears to be headed for the pen. Josh has pitched 6 times for 7 innings so I imagine if he were going to start during the season they might try to get him some more innings.
I like Hal, I really do but this is at least the second time he has used that same line and I think someone needs to call him out on it.
