I added it almost immediately because I had to double check the spelling.

Bored with trying to corner the market on second baseman, Reds management moves onto the task of stockpiling poor hitting catchers.

Here's Rotoworld's full clip. Who's Carlos Piste?

Reds acquired catcher Ryan Jorgensen from the Marlins for infielder Carlos Piste.

The Reds can't be this worried about losing Dane Sardinha off waivers. Jorgensen, who was the Marlins' fourth catcher, will probably back up Sardinha for Triple-A Louisville.

I don't know, but the headline has to be "Piste off to Florida for bad hitting catcher"

I think she screamed "why" after getting hit in the legs by the pipe.

Does he have options? Jorgensen that is? I saw in rotoworld that he was sent through waivers last year.

All we need is another catcher out of options.

We could also go with "Piste on Marlins--minor league backstop headed to Louisville"

After snapping up 351 non hitting 2B, 75 over 30 OF's Krivsky moves on the the Reds biggest weakness: fortifying the most productive catching duo in baseball.

wait...

Like with the Terrence Long deal, this just sounds like Triple-A roster filling.

He asked for the trade. Heard Boss was giving out 200 rep points to insiders for immediate admission to ORG.

I actually messaged him on myspace this morning to welcome him to the Reds. (Yeah, I know, I'm a dork!!) :D But he messaged me back and was really, really nice. He said he's excited about the trade. He also said not to believe what people say about him, and that this is his year and he's gonna rake. I hope he's right!! :)

Ha! I never thought about baseball players having myspace accounts but I guess everyone does these days. Do you have the link? I want to see too!

A bunch of the minor leaguers have myspace accounts. I've corresponded with a few Reds and Indians minor leaguers on there. I actually talk to a couple of the guys in the Indians system on AOL Instant Messanger almost every day now. They're fun guys.

Mike Burns has one as well. (I was VERY VERY BORED over Christmas break, so I spent some time searching for random players on myspace. )

Here's the link to Jorgi's page (a friend of mine worked for the Albuquerque Isotopes when he was with that team, and that's what she calls him)-
