Interesting to see how Terrell Young does in Dayton. Much like Gonzo, he was one of those "troubled" guys with a big arm. Gonzo giveth, Young taketh it away?

Not a good sign for your farm system when your 4th or 5th top prospect is a 23 year old OF in low A ball.

Melendez! He made my little free-agent list as someone that was an intriguing conversion project. Huh.

The things I find interesting are that they've decided to start Ward in Dayton right out of the gate...no rookie league tryout. I'm guessing he was impressive in Minor League ST?? ...and they're keeping Janish and Szymanski in Dayton at least to begin the season. It actually looks like a nice group of prospects to go watch...Wood, Bruce, Szymanski, Janish, Ward, Valiquette, Reninger...usually you don't find that many in one place in our system. ;)

I bet you Tim Naehring just adores Lt. Holden. You better believe the Dragons' morning calisthenics have just been expanded.
