9-7 Reds. Late heroics by Abad. And judging by the weather right now, at least 2 rain delays.

Reds lose 7-6, bullpen gives up 4 runs in the last 2 innings.I am really concerned about the pen. This a group of mediocre pitchers and not a single one has a dominating out pitch(hence no real closer). I don't think White will survive long and I am concerned about the propensity of Burns and Hammonds to give up HRs.

Harang will pitch more than five but less than seven solid innings, giving up three or fewer earned runs. The Cubs will hit several balls solidly. The Reds will turn one or two DPs to get out of jams.

Zambrano will be throwing some serious gas, but his command will not be sharp.

The strong winds will be blowing straight out to left field, resulting in more than fourteen runs being scored.

How about back-to-back walkoff jobs on Opening Day?
I'm predicting Dunn goes deep and the Reds win 8-7.
Does that also mean Dunn goes the Joe Randa route and won't be with the team when the season ends?

Derek Lee goes deep at least once.

Reds win 7-4; homers by DLee, Dunn and Junior. Zambrano has a breakdown on the mound in the fifth. Tony Womack attempts to steal second, slips on the wet grass, and bruises his butt (and is caught).

Not as bad as last year. Expectations among the faithfull were running high. This year they are running low. Aftershocks from the last decade will still be felt for another 1-2 years IMO.
