While yanking the last guy to make an out makes sense from a double-switch perspective, I don't like losing Encarnacion's glove late in the game.
More evidence that improving the D is way down the list of stuff they want to do.

I think with the 4 run lead u let him have another inning.

Normally, I'd agree, but not on the guy's first start of the season. I'd just let him build on this one. It's gonna be a nice season if Milton can pitch like this, Arroyo does well, and Harang and Claussen can put together a season like last year or better.

Hey Sava and Max, Can we say we told them so yet? ;)

Sounds like about five different fans yelling now.

It's becoming painfully obvious that the bullpen is the Achilles' heel of this team. Wasn't it only a few years ago when the bullpen was amazing with Sullivan, Graves, Williamson, etc?

Now, I'm not saying that our starting rotation is the end-all, be-all, but me thinks it's MUCH easier to fix your BP than your rotation. I'll take our current BP and rotation vs that mix in the BP and crap for a starting 5. You can fix a BP come the deadline....

They might not make it that far if the BP says the same. I agree that it is easier to fix the BP, that's why it should be done soon. BP arms become scarce around the deadline and if they are sellers, could get a nice trade.
