Ken Griffey Jr.'s knee problem is so minor that minor isn't the right word for it. He'll be back soon, though the conservative treatment may end up costing him some plate appearances this season.

There are no minor leg problems with Jr. and I think the team's handling of the injury to date confirms that. I'm sure that the club is not only worried the primary injury could be far worse than it seems, but that if he plays on it that might open the door for a much more serious secondary injury.

If this was nothing, he'd be in the lineup tonight.

If he's not back by next Tuesday DL him.

I agree...this concerns me with Junior...any leg problems are tough...if you wrestled and you knew about a guys weak knee you worked that knee...now, guys are going to be pitching him to draw on this.

If it was so minor.....he would have played or pinch hit........

There wasn't really a pinch hit opp tonight, They didn't want to pull Harang because he was coasting. It's too early in the season to take any chance on Griffey no matter how minor the injury, especially when you have already proven you have guys who can fill in and do the job.

FYI, he was on deck to pinch hit in the 9th.
