Not sure what is contract is with the Boston, however with the success of Papelbon closing and Krivsky having already dealt with the Redsox before, would it be possible you all think to get him in a trade?I know Theo Epstein has him in his plans to start later, however he doesn't seem to plan on shutting down his role as of yet.
Plus didn't Foulke say some things to erk the team or the fans?Just a trade possibility I was thinking about.

I agree with Pedro. The Sox would not want to deal him for nothing, or Tony Womack, so the Reds shouldn't pursue this IMO.

I'd prefer a younger guy with a chance of striking some guys out. Foulke, while an upgrade, isn't that guy.

Foulke's done. Let him be someone else's problem.

Keith Foulks knees are a mess, his career is pretty much over.

I'd do it. But just to say this like "Foulke You Edmonds, now sit down"

Papelbon bothers me (not too much, since he's on my fantasy team) because he's exactly what I thought the Reds would be getting when they drafted Ryan Wagner.

Given who he was surrounded by, I imagine he spent significant time in the Reds front office.

Foulke for Womack? Sure, why not. If he does well with a change of scenery, he might be worth something.

It's not like the bullpen situation is going to fix itself, and Coffey likely will not see the closers role with Narron managing.

Maybe they'll give him to us if we take WilyMo back.

I think he is owed in the range of 8 million for both this and next year.

Boston has a glaring weakness at backup catcher, Bard simply is not an adequate backup behind veritek. Soon we are going to have Larue back, and I simply wouldn't mind seeing Larue and Ross as our catchers. So here is my proposal:

Reds trade: Javier Valentin

Red Sox trade: Manny Delcarmen-RP

why it works for both sides--the Red Sox get a solid backup behind Veritek who can start 2-3 times a week and has some pop, while the Reds deal from a log jam at catcher and pickup a guy who can move into the pen which is a glaring weakness for them.

I meant the Manny Delcarman not Foulke
