I believe Belisle is out of options. He would have to sneak into Louisville without being claimed off the waiver wire.

Then, if he continues to pitch well in relief tonight, give him a tryout in the rotation on Tuesday in Washington.

You said it yesterday FCB and it bears repeating. How Castellini reacts to the current situation with Milton and Williams, which effectively gives the holder of a future Reds ticket a 40% chance of watching a total and abject embarassing pitching performance, will say a lot about how his regime is going to go.

EE/Reds 3rd base timeline:
2001: Boone is entrenched as the 3bmen, Bowden trades party loving Rob Bell, a blow to his rebuilding plan, for Injured Ruben Mateo and some 18 year old scrub named Edwin Encarncion.
2002: Boone continues as Reds 3rd slacker, while Mateo tries to get a role with the Reds after coming back from his leg injury. EE does well down in Dayton as a 19 year old hitting 296, whispers begin.
2003: The Boone era ends during the July trading deadline and leaves a hole at 3rd. EE struggles after skipping high A in AA. Get demoted to high A does very well, then gets re-promoted to AA and does decently then gets the "Reds 3rd baseman of the future tagline".
2004: Reds have 3rd base hole as O'brien hopes Larson can finally fill the bill. EE has a decent, though not outstanding season at AA hitting 281.
2005: After Larson finally is kicked out of the organization, Joe Randa is signed to a 1 year deal to stopgap the position to EE is ready. By this time EE is considered one of the top 50 prospects in the game. EE has a big year in AAA leading to Randa's trade to the Padres and EE's arrival in July of 2005. O'brien takes credit for EE's arrival saying he personally scouted him in the late 90's lol;) .
2006: EE begins his run as Reds 3rd slacker finally as the replacement for Boone.

Pretty amazing that between Rob Bell,Ruben Mateo and EE, the 18 year old scrub of that deal is the potential star. Could be a good trivia question in future years.

Another thing EE has that most "athlete" type players don't is good plate discipline. That makes him a much more dangerous hitter because while he may have a bad AB here and there, it won't be consistantly. Of course, nerdy SABR people could have told you that looking at his minor league stats, which prove this easily.
