Wondering if anyone else here in the DC area is going to the Reds - Nats games this week?

I know PickOff and I will be there for a couple of games...I'm going Monday and Tuesday. Would go for the trifecta on Wednesday, but curses the job is getting in the way.

I've got tickets for all three games. I'm really looking forward to it, since these will be the first games I've gone to this year. I actually have an extra ticket for Tuesday if anyone's interested.

Unfortunately, I'm missing them--my wife is out of town and these are school days, so its hard to take the kids. Which leads me to my comment--it stinks that the Reds only come here once a year. I think we could do away with interleague play and playing teams in their division 19 times and have them play more games against the East. The play the freaking Indians as much as the Nats.

I mentioned elsewhere that my oldest daughter is going to tonight's game. She's going to have one of that National City Bank blow-up #1 hands that have the Reds logo and Go Reds on it, so look for her.

If I can get some stuff done today, I may head down for tomorrow's game. Coming down from Philly, what's the best way to get to RFK from 95 south? Any info is greatly appreciated!

Head west on the Beltway, park in New Carrollton, and Metro in.

Seriously, I only drive to RFK if I have to--which is rare. I drive so rarely, in fact, that I have no idea how you would get to RFK from 95.

Very easy. Take I-95 South to the Baltimore-Washington Parkway South. Merge onto 295 South. Follow signs for RFK stadium (E Capital street exit)

Ah, yes, and such a picturesque drive that is too!

I'll be taking the metro in. So much easier. Orange line the whole way.
