I'm just about to Mlb.tv this game. My first non-Reds game of the year!

That was a big league play by Lance Carter.

On to the 14th...

Carter fell all over himself on a ground ball to the pitcher, a la Beaz, but recovered and threw the runner out. Right now however, Lofton moved Furcal up to 3rd with 1 out in the 14th.

Furcal to third with one out... come on scrappiness.

LA fails to score.

The Baumer

Haha. The camera angle they used made Odalis Perez' ball look like a hit, but the short stop appeared and threw him out. That would have been amazing had it gone through.

No matter who wins or loses, this long game is good news for the Reds. The 'Stros have thrown 7 pitchers already.

Berkman just hit a 280 foot line drive off the left field wall for a double. 2nd and 3rd, 1 out in the bottom of the 14th. Preston Wilson at bat.

1 out, bases loaded for Preston Wilson.

Now I wish I'd have gone to bed, Astro's win on a sac fly in the 14th, we're still 1/2 game back.

Rem

Eh, let them have fun. This may be the only time this year scoreboard watching will be a potentially interesting activity...

In your case you could work on either your spelling or your people skills. For instance, is there really a manor (meaning a house) where you go to click heals in a 'jackboot-like' manner (meaning way).

And, nowhere did I tell anyone what to do or how to do it. I simply made an 'off-the-cuff' comment that it was too early to scoreboard watch---for me! I guess I'll have to dumb it down in the future and say, "It's too early to scoreboard watch for me". Sorry to give you enough credit to figure that out on your own. My bad, I won't make that assumption again. I didn't tell anyone else not to do it or ridicule anyone for doing it. That didn't seem to deter you from attacking me but, hey, that's OK. Attack me all you want but just be aware that I'll defend myself if you do. You can send your personal appology by PM so that you don't have to embarrass yourself further in front of all the other people here and we'll be cool.

Great 'moderation' Chip. You continue to live down to my expectations for you.

Sweet, Rem. Went after my spelling. Thats the sure sign of a winning argument.

Its stupid that you responded in such a manor when all you had to say was "i didnt mean it that way" but no, you have to launch into self-richeous mode and try to force undue apologies.

Heres the deal... if you are are going to make "off the cuff" remarks, add some sort of indication. Or at least explain to further the conversation rather than sound like some keystone cop of the threads.

The only thing I have to apologize for is to jredmo2 for the end result of this thread.

You could learn yourself some forum etiquette to minimize misunderstandings and focus less on deflecting blame for the misunderstanding.
