Yeah. Have you been watching today's game? He's really covered a lot of ground and made some nice plays Junior wouldn't have been close to.

A Junior/ Freel / Denorfia outfield would be interesting.

I see him play. I see him kill teams. I just can't believe he's that good. It's mind boggling how amazing a player he is -- I keep waiting for them to announce he's on steroids, or human growth hormone, or that he's a cyborg sent from the past to kill Sarah Connor and hit curveballs.

Cut Mercker some slack. He has been hurt, hasn't pitched much, is just getting back. He has been very solid since Reds re-acquired him. He can't be perfect every time.

That's why I wasn't calling for Weathers' head after he gave up the bomb to Pujols. The guy just beats everyone without mercy. Berkman scares me too - mainly from the left side - but not as much as Pujols.

Here's the question: Who is better right now, Papi or Pujols?

Pujols is a sweetfielding firstbaseman. Ortiz is a DH.
Pujols is a better allaround hitter
Pujols is reportedly only 26, Papi is 29-30

There's really no comparison

When Chuck Norris’s wife burned the turkey one Thanksgiving, Chuck said, “Don’t worry about it honey,” and went into his backyard. He came back five minutes later with a live turkey, ate it whole, and when he threw it up a few seconds later it was fully cooked and came with cranberry sauce. When his wife asked him how he had done it, he gave her a roundhouse kick to the face and said, “Never question Chuck Norris.”

Baseball's a great game. Remember it was only last year that Pujols came up in the 9th inning vs Danny Graves, 1 out, down by a run, bases loaded, and he chopped one to Randa who stepped on the bag and threw to first, game over, Reds win.

Chuck Norris can break wood with his penisreminds me of a movie quote

So, if there's anything I can do for you, or, more to the point, to you, you just let me know.

Can you hammer a six-inch spike through a board with your penis?

Chuck Norris’ hand is the only hand that can beat a Royal Flush.

Chuck Norris can lead a horse to water AND make it drink.

Some people wear Superman pajamas. Superman wears Chuck Norris pajamas

Chuck Norris does not own a stove, oven, or microwave , because revenge is a dish best served cold.

Chuck Norris is expected to win gold in every swimming competition at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, even though Chuck Norris does not swim. This is because when Chuck Norris enters the water, the water gets out of his way and Chuck Norris simply walks across the pool floor.

As a teen, Chuck Norris had sex with every nun in a convent tucked away in the hills of Tuscany. Nine months later the nuns gave birth to the 1972 Miami Dolphins, the only undefeated and untied team in professional football history.

If Chuck Norris were a calendar, every month would be named Chucktober, and every day he'd kick your ass.

According to the Nationals broadcast Ramon's last fastball was 97MPH. Someone needs to check that radar gun.

I don't know where they were getting that. I looked at the radar reading on the RFK scoreboard all day and Ortiz was around 89-91 on his fastball all day.

Was it deep enough for an average runner to score?

I was there. Hatteberg could not have scored. Too slow and if Soriano can catch the ball he has a gun. A fast runner may scored but it would have been very close. I think they cut it off because Hatte never really looked like he was going to try to tag.

It's almost like they aren't aware they're on the air. The way the converse is like the two drunk guys in the stands who think they know everything but don't know anything.

If it's the TV announcers you are talking about then I saw Paciorek before the game heading to the TV booth with what looked like a beer in his hand. So drunk reference may not be be too far off.
