PHOENIX -- OK, just getting settled in here. I can't remember ever coming here and having the roof and outfield panels open. Last couple years, the Reds have come in July and August, when everything's bottled up and air-conditioned.

About all that's going on that I can determine is that Paul Wilson has been recalled from his rehab assignment with (uh-oh) "shoulder fatigue." Also, Cody Ross is beginning a rehab assignment for Louisville today.

Oh, and Terrence Long has been released. He hit .229 with six RBIs in 15 games for Louisville.

I posted a little blurb about Long after I saw Louisvlle play. Just like his name, he has a LONG swing that is more suited for softball. His bat speed is almost non existent. The only pitches I saw him get to were breaking balls.
