Tarp on, Dunn in

Steady light rain at the moment, I imagine BP will be canceled.

Dunn is playing first tonight, with Freel in left. Yes, Griffey is in center.

Glue him to 1st.

With Freel in and Dunn playing 1st I would imagine the lineup would be:

Freel LF
Lopez SS
Griffey CF
Dunn 1B
Kearns RF
Encarnacion 3B
Phillips 2B
Larue C
Ramirez P

I imagine it's just to give Hatteburg a day off, but maybe we'll hang up some crooked numbers tonight and Narron will go "hmmm..."

It will probably be Valentin catching Ramirez.

Yep. Javy's Elizardo's Personal Catcher. We should carry 5 catchers so all our SP can have one!

Doesn't this nullify the contract Dunn signed?

Sweet line up. It's going to be interesting to see the phill phenom. We'll either kill him or he'll thow a 3 hit shut out.

Uh OH! Hey Griffey, someone is changing positions for the good of the team.

Dunn is playing first tonight... and I thought we were told he couldn't play the position. Then again maybe when hatty tripped over his feet trying to field the Hernandez grounder in the 11th everything changed.

I feel the exact same thing. And with Sick Willy on the mound, I hope it's the former.

I'll go with ...

Freel - LF
Lopez - SS
Griffey - CF
Kearns - RF
Dunn - 1B
Encarnacion - 3B
Phillips - 2B
Valentin - C
Ramirez - P

I would have put Valentin ahead of Phillips to keep the lefty-righty switch going but Hamel is a lefty so Javy will be swinging from the right tonight.

Is there any chance this game even gets played tonight? This damn weather band is reaking havoc on Ohio.

Both teams have a day off Monday where they could have made up a game but the Reds have to play in that Hall of Fame game.

I hope Freel doesn't run into Griffey. Freel has a bad habit of hogging balls and he might dive head first into Griffey's legs.

Here is a line up i like for a permanent basis

LF Freel
SS Lopez
CF Griffey
RF Kearns
1B Dunn
3B Encarnacion
C Valentin
2B Phillips
P

Hattenburg spells Freel with Dunn going to LF 2 days a week...

Griffey won't be making a move till the offseason would be my guess. ps made a great play in CF that looked a lot like Matsui's wrist breaker last night
scared the poop out of me...

I like it. I have no problem batting Dunn and Griffey back to back though. They both can hold their own versus lefties. In any event, I feel much more comfortable with Junior in CF when he's flanked by Freel and Kearns. I also agree with the catcher batting 7th and Phillips 8th. I don't want the catcher clogging the bases ahead of our leadoff guy.

You mean Freel might Kimo von Oelhoffen Griffey?
