yep. He knows how to at least make contact with men on, to get them over, if nothing else.
Plus not only does he walk, and drive in runs, and hits homers, but he actually hits for average too.

Not to mention he is clutch.

Two commercials are especially getting on my nerves:

- the lottery commercial where a guy pretends to be giving a seminar-type instruction on the benefits of playing the lottery

- the commercial where they play that "More more more" song.

Don't they ever learn?

In my experience, the sprain was horrible..........

My wife had the worst sprain I've ever seen. She was walking in the front yard, and out of all the yard space that doesn't have a hole, she had to catch her foot in a really small hole. I was standing in the living room, with the room open and heard 3 "craacckkk!" sounds (ligaments tearing?), and she was probably 30 feet or so away. For weeks and weeks her ankle was black and blue. Many months later she still has pain in that area.

Patrick Bateman
05-12-2006, 09:34 PM
I think Phillips boo-boo'ed that one. Lopez has to break toward the bag for the DP. Phillips should have been breaking for the ball.
It would be a set play before the pitch, as to who would cover on a stolen base attempt. With a RH hitter, usually Phillips would cover, but it's gets switched. Only they now for sure. But one thing for sure, the player would have been moving before the ball was hit.
