It would really be nice if ESPN (TV and/or radio) would chose to air this... it's a baseball ritual and though meaningless in the standings, I think a lot of baseball fans would be interested.
It sure beats spelling bees, cheerleading competitions, and poker tournaments. Ugh! I love to play poker, but it sure isn't a very fun spectator "sport".

I don't see why they don't just turn it into a real game. Have a 2 game series of it. Take a home game away from the Reds and take a home game from Pitts and make the games count. Who cares about exhibition games in may??

Yep I agree 100%. Marty was saying they should count it on the radio the other night also.

They can't. Doubleday Field is not regulation.
