Possibly, but Dunn's avg. is down below .220.

That is unacceptable.

If his OBP was below .220, you'd have a valid argument.

Burns. If the FO wants to do something about the Reds season, now is the time. They have too many useless players on the roster. You cannot be a legitimate contender with this much dead weight taking up space.

It seems as though you're saying Adam Dunn needs a rest because he's hitting .220. Is that not what you're saying?

You're right about everything except his batting average. It has dropped below .220 now.

The guy may not need a week, but he needs to sit for a couple of games. Get his head together.

Adam's selectivity at the plate will never change. That attribute of his will always be loved by many and hated by others. You can take a walk no matter how tired or off your game you may be.

Fact is, he's in a slump, and he needs a break. Please realize I am NOT an Adam Dunn basher. I am a big Dunn fan. I am, however, a bigger fan of the Reds, and it is in the REDS' best interest that he sit for a couple of games and get his game in order.

I would like more than one guy in the pen to throw mid 90s heat. Marte is in middle relief duty for the Pirates and his stuff is as good as Coffey.

His ERA the last 4 seasons is 2.83, 1.58, 3.42, 3.77

Ok...if we can't rough up Oliver Perez tomorrow, we're officially toast.

Perez cannot get anyone out, and this Pittsburgh team is 12-27.

We lose tomorrow, and it may be time to head for the hills.

He wasn't too loved in Chicago. In the last month of the season he pissed off management and they put him on the DL just so he couldn't play.

It's time to start parting out this team. Do some smaller deals to set up big changes at the deadline. Lay the groundwork.

I don't think so... but then again when the pitching gives up 9 runs the first thing I do is complain about the hitting.
