Just saw on ProSportsDaily.com that the Yankees are close to a deal with Terrance Long....isn't he in Louisville?

I believe we released him three weeks ago, give or take.

Matsui and Sheffield are both on the DL, Damon has a cracked bone in his foot and a bad shoulder, and Bubba Crosby had to leave the game today with a strained hamstring or something. Their current list of healthy OFs is down to Melky, Bernie Williams and some guy from AAA named Reese, I think. In other words, they might actually need him.
