Arroyo starts opener against Brewers
Milwaukee (23-21) at Cincinnati (25-19), 7:10 p.m. ET

With the brief foray of Interleague Play over for now, the Reds return to play an NL Central rival on Monday -- the first of three games against the Brewers.
Bronson Arroyo will start for Cincinnati against Milwaukee's Dave Bush.

Arroyo is coming off a rare lackluster performance for the Reds. On Wednesday at Pittsburgh, he fell into a 4-1 rut against the Pirates early on his way to a 7-2 loss. He allowed four earned runs and nine hits with two walks and four strikeouts but finished with four scoreless innings.

The last time Cincinnati saw Bush, he threw a complete-game four-hitter for an 11-0 shutout April 22 at Miller Park.

Pitching matchup
CIN: RHP Bronson Arroyo (5-2, 2.40 ERA)
Arroyo has shown to be better against an NL opponent the second time around. His combined numbers in such starts are 2-0 with a 0.38 ERA and one complete game.

MIL: RHP Dave Bush (3-4, 4.35 ERA)
Has allowed at least one home run in each of his last five starts.

Player to watch:
Third baseman Edwin Encarnacion hasn't gone hitless in consecutive games all season. Encarnacion was 1-for-4 in Sunday's loss at Detroit.

I like our rotation going into the series. The fact that it is at home is even better. I'll bet we take 2 of 3.
