Because Leonardo DaVinci left us clues in his paintings about where Hoffa was buried. If we find him, we might find the Holy Grail too.

Isn't it possible that his remains were incinerated and/or dropped to the ocean floor many years ago?

It's important to find Hoffa because he keeps tripping NY Jets receivers.

Rosebud was a little crystal snowy ball.
The guy in the crying game was nothing more than some ancient Egyptian queen, or something like that.
Jason killed all those people in the hotel, but it was covered up by Freddy.
Soylent Green is actually dark yellow. But, it is people.
Dorthy got sidetracked when, while following the Yellow Brick Road, accidentally started following the Soylent Green Road *see above.
Mufasa was killed by Darth Vadar.
The Titanic is okay. I saw it floating down the Miami River yesterday. Mighta been a log, though. A really big log.
