Amen. Even though I don't agree w/ you often over on The Gem, GAC, I, too, can't wait to visit The Gem Saloon again and spend time with its notorious proprietor (the most compelling character on tv these days) and the rest of the gang in Deadwood.

I can't wait to pick up Season 2. I watched the first season on a whim and was instantly hooked. A rarity considering I don't watch much television besides sports.

Season 3 is the finale.

I know, so sad. Apparently nothing will get resolved either.

It's been cancelled to make way for a surfing show called "John in Cincinnati" or something. Really disappointing decision by HBO.

Season 3 is not quite the end of the show. Apparently HBO and David Milch the producer of Deadwood have reached an agreement on two 2 hour edisodes of Deadwood that will wrap up the show sometime after season 3. Those 4 hours would be the end of series.

It's without a doubt one of my favorite shows on TV. It's well written and brilliantly acted. I'm not sure I understand why Ian McShane hasn't won an Emmy. Just a bunch of hoopleheads not voting for him because they consider him a limey c*******r. ;)

Awesome, I hadn't heard that.
