Per his Blog, Dibble is stepping up and taking the blame, not that anyone is really giving it to him.

Weird... Rob would have been on my list of dudes on something for some reason. He had anger issues.

Heard him say the same on the radio yesterday. He really sounded legit in his anger with himself.

Finally Dibble said something I agree with.

It's easy for Dibble to be principled about this now. If he'd pressed the issue at the time, I think the union would have taken some Reds players aside and whispered to them about getting their teammates to choose a new player rep.

Either he was too dense to figure that out at the time or he's conveniently forgotten that the spectre of the union brass twisting the arms of his teammates is what caused him to clam up.

Dibble has been blathering on XM for the past year about how much he thinks the steroid issue is overblown.

Now he's changed his tune?

He would not be the first person in the media to change his views on a subject.

The other night on the "Best Daggone Sports Show" (in honor of George Grande), Dibble was brutal in his questions to the authors of the Bonds book. He's all over the place on this issue.

Dibble needs to go crawl under a rock somewhere.
