The guy is obviously on the outs with the Dodgers, but he does have a career 4.20 ERA (albeit with most of his outings in Dodger Stadium).

Would you Larue for Perez?

Yeah, I know the Dodgers already have a group of catchers, but word on the street is that the Dodgers offered Perez straight up for Javy Lopez. Perez would allow the Reds to move Milton into the pen (which I think would be good for Milton and, thus, the Reds).

Why would you want to move Milton into the pen with how he's pitched this year?

He's [if I recall correctly] a flyball guy. I think the 'Nati has enough of those already, so I'd pass on him.

I would do LaRue for Perez if they pick up the salary difference. Only problem is they have two catchers who are top prospects (Martin and Navarro). That said, there is only upside to that trade.
