Now here's someone I could deal with getting for a low price...

According to the Boston Globe, the Red Sox have designated J.T. Snow for assignment.

Hatteberg > Snowif you throw out 2006 the answer would be Snow>Hatteberg especially when you consider the defense.

Snow is a defense guy; you know Krivsky's eyebrows just went up.

He's also old enough

But..3 1st baseman and 3 catchers? :help:

I would be for picking him up strickly because he improves our defense, but at the same time we need to move either Aurilia or Hatteberg first to create some room for him. Or better yet find somebody that we can unload either Valentin or Larue on.

But his bat appears to have left town.

The glove isn't quite what it used to be, either. He's still good there, but not special. He seems like a great guy, but he's 38 and it shows.

Not an upgrade over Hatteberg or Aurillia, no thanks.

Hey, enough with the Snow stuff. I'm still fretting about Wayne sending David Shafer and Chris Denorfia to Kansas City for Doug Mientkiewicz in a month and change.
