Matt Cain of the Giants is throwing a no-hitter against the Angels through 7 innings.

all the scoring has been done in the first inning.. for those who want to know what happened:'

LAA 1ST - With Orlando Cabrera batting, Chone Figgins steals (24) 2nd base, Chone Figgins scores. Throwing error by catcher Eliezer Alfonzo. LAA 1-0

SF 1ST - Barry Bonds doubles (8) on a line drive to left fielder Garret Anderson. Randy Winn scores. Mark Sweeney to 3rd. TIE 1-1

SF 1ST - Steve Finley grounds out, second baseman Adam Kennedy to first baseman Kendry Morales. Mark Sweeney scores. Barry Bonds to 3rd. SF 2-1

I'd think he comes out pretty quick now. He's thrown 126 pitches.

he also canceled the shut out by stealing 2nd and then scoring on a throwing error, that dang Figgins, wait he is on my fantasy team, good work figgins.

131 pitches for Cain, 83 strikes. 10K's and 4 BB's.. 1 hit. Great game for the kid.. but 131 pitches?

Is Dusty Baker still in SF?

He's got 4 days to rest. I think he'll be fine.
