I don't think it would hurt to swap Dunn and Kearns in the lineup, but nevertheless. Didn't see another game thread.

Freel doubles off the base off the wall in left.

Lopez doubles to drive in Freel, 1-0 Reds. Junior at the plate.

Junior grounds out to a shifted right side of the infield. Still wish he'd run to first on grounders, you never know.

My garden is going to the dump, with this heavy rain we're getting. And, the thing was just getting started.

I gotta say I don't mind Jr. not going all out on all ground balls. But that is just me.

Once again tonight's thread has nobody because there are two game threads. When will the talk that caused the airing out here not long ago, become reality?

Yeah, I feel stupid I was trying to figure out how to post in "The Show", but I read the note and now realize why no one is in this thread.

Harang has looked okay, but he's had some deep fly outs. I think thats why his record is crap in GABP... the walls are just a little closer....

Yeah, I think so too. And as far as this game I really don't mind the walk to hafner.

That's kind of what I was saying. You live and die with his aggressiveness, if he makes it there I say "wow great hustle", but I obviously I took his name in vain.

There is fine line between "aggressiveness" and "wrecklessness."

RedEye

I feel like it's a bad play with nobody out and Felipe at the plate, especially with Junior on deck. Maybe with 1 out, but I don't think that was an "agressive situation" personally.

Can you believe the Tribe got Phillips, Sizemore, AND Cliff Lee for Bartolo Colon? I guess that's one deadline deal that worked out for the sellers...

again I completely agree, I think it was really stupid to try that, but if he would have made it then I would probably be singing his praises. Like the start of the season against the cubs where he scored from third on a sac fly by dunn to very short right field, if he wouldn't have scored there I would have been saying how stupid he was.

Just goes to show not all deals happen with the players. No one wants to deal with a snake.

Harang not looking dominating. I think if we put some runs on the board for him he will get better as the game goes on.

Dunn is so deep in slumpland. Break out of it Adam.

Didn't the Indians offer us Westbrook for Kearns recently? I'm not sure that would be a bad deal for us. Jake seems to throw pretty hard (tops out at 93) and he throws a ton of ground balls. He's looked fairly good to me tonight.

Does anyone else remember LaRue talking to himself this much at the plate? He looks like he is pressing so much. It's going to be tough to break out of this slump when you're squeezing the handle of the bat it turns into sawdust...

Trying to type this with one hand (little one is watching game with me).

Difficult to break from a slump when you're going to the plate with an incomplete package. Dunn is not adjusting.

Bullpen Catcher?

Yeah, that's where he's headed these days. That was just my lame attempt at a pep talk to him via MLB.com. Shoot. I should have just stuck with my wild Jake Westbrook compliments... those were working!

Dunn has shown the other traits needed, but for some reason they disappear for halfs at a time.

that ball jr. just hit was up on the outer part of the strike zone and he tried to take it to left field.

I wouldn't be any less correct by suggesting that his bat has slowed a little (he strikes out on 80ish fastballs now, remember ;) ). All speculation, of course.
