View Full Version : Reds Intro Music and Kroger's Bobble Heads

07-02-2006, 12:06 PM
I recently traveled to Cincy and was able to go to the Larkin bobble head night. Quite a game! Four home runs in a game for someone who gets to see the Reds once a year was a treat!

I was wondering if anyone had the names of the songs the players used for intro music. I search the net and this forum, but could not find anything.

Also, Does anyone have info on the Krogers Big Red Machine Bobbel heads? Are they sold as a set or are they being offered one or two per week? Also, what is the price? Thank you!

Players song I can help a little with

Dunn -Sister Christian [usually, occasionally Big Shot by Billy Joel]
Kearns - Play Me that Mountain Music
Freel - Tom's Diner
LaRue - A Country Boy Can Survive
Ross - It Takes Two [Don't ask, its the oddest song to come out to]
Valentin - Lean Back
Aurilia - No Sleep Til Brooklyn

That's all I remember off the top of my head.

Milton - Where Ever I May Roam by Metallica
Harang - I Disappear by Metallica

If you care about pitchers.

Griffey: Ridin' Dirty (Chamillionaire)

Among others

Hatteberg: Nobody Knows (Allman Brothers)

Not 100% sure of the title, but its definitely the Allmans...

Hmm... my BlackBerry seems to like to double post today...

Anyway, Griffey's other song (just remembered) is:

Fresh Azimiz (Bow Wow)

Felipe Lopez: Rompe (Daddy Yankee)

On a related note, they're not playing the songs at the game today! Just a little organ music for an intro...

That could be, his and Freel's are the weirdest ones in a while IMO.

Also regarding the player's theme music, it seems a lot of the songs were new after the all-star break. They switched I think, or at least added some new tunes.
