I may have missed this but I did not see this posted according to Marc's blog LHP Michael Gosling is being recalled from Louisville. Not sure who's place he is taking.

Actually I see it now they have optioned Shackelford to Louisville. Maybe just until they see how this arrest comes out.

Probably a good idea since he won't be able to pitch for a day or so.

Or maybe 10-20... years.

Makes a Weathers DFA even more likely.

Wow. It has been a wild day today.

Who goes tomorrow when Eddie is activated then?

If his name isn't Coffey, who cares.

Gosling will just head back down after today.

Well I guess its good to call Michael Gosling up. This gives depth to the depleted pen. Will Gosling make it to Atlanta in time for the game?

The Lizard went down to make room for Encarnacion. I'd imagine Gosling goes back down tomorrow to make room for Guardado. Gosling makes sense for a one day call up since he can throw multiple innings, and with a burned out bullpen and a Joe Mays complete game highly unlikely that will have some value.

Mercker pitched well last night.
