Saw that during the current series against the Cubs they designated it a "Take Back Miller Park" promotion, where Brewers fans can buy reduced tickets to prevent Cubs fans flocking 45 minutes north...Probably something they should try at GABP during Cubs weekends...By the way the series is sold out

How did they do it, by zipcode? Just trying to figure out how they could sell discount to "Brewers" fans, what's the deciding factor?

i would say buying them online using the computer ip address or something like that. it would work like the blackout rules work on the computer for mlb tv.

I think it is a bad idea. Yeah, it is nice to have a stadium full of your own fans but those Cubs fans are paying full price to get in. That adds up to a pretty good amount of money. Money that would not be there if the Diamondbacks came to town. That money could go to getting another pitcher at the trade deadline of in the offseason. Or it could go to arbitration raises. Or it could go to not raising ticket prices the following season.

Its a great idea. Its like the when mark anatanasio(the brewers new owner) bought out the staduim for the last game and gave away free tickets. the brewers have a marquee system in place already where big games are high prices, cubs games being included.
